Half-term fun for all the family

Dew settles on snowdrops in Trelissick garden

Spring is on the way and the outdoors are calling. Trelissick is the perfect place to get back into nature this half-term with fun activities to get stuck into.

Snowdrop trail  - Saturday 10 - Sunday 18 February

Say a big hello to spring by following the snowdrop trail in the garden. These pretty little things have been popping up in the garden since the start of the New Year and are a welcome sign of spring being well on its way. See what you can find out about snowdrops and other early blooming flowers as you complete the trail.

50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾ - Saturday 11-Sunday 19 February

For mini- explorers and adventurers there’s ‘50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾’ trails for both the garden and the countryside. Pick up trail sheets at the garden entrance or the information point in the car park. Explore the garden to spot the birds that sing high in the trees and see if you can make as much noise as them by making a grass trumpet.

Venturing out into the parkland there's even more to discover. Race down the hill to the beach where stones can be skimmed or balanced atop eachother to create some wild art. So grab your wellies and your woolies for an outdoor adventure.
