Things to do in the summer holidays 2016
Ever wondered how to build a bug hotel? Or fancy racing a snail, then hunting for bugs and mini beasts that are hiding in the garden?
We’re seeking out mini outdoor adventurers to complete their 50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾. On Mondays there’s snail racing, Wednesdays learn to build a bug hotel for the wildlife here at Trelissick, so you can recreate your own one at home, and Fridays there’s a bug hunt. Activities are from 2-3.30pm in the garden throughout July and August. The activities are free, garden admission charges will apply.
You and your mini adventurers can discover the grassy open spaces to play on, winding paths to paly hide and seek and explore, games on the lawn to have a go at, and trails to do that take you through the garden.
Have you started your summer of sport?
Why not have a go at throwing a Javelin or discus or try one the other fun free sporting activities, every day throughout the summer from 11 am - 4pm on the west lawn outside the house.Garden admission charges will apply.
