Ever wanted to find out more about Trerice, its history and architecture? Now is your chance to join Gary who will take you on a talk and tour outside, explaining the different parts of Trerice, the wider estate and the families who lived here.

Decorate your own plaster Christmas decoration

21, 22, 28, 29 November, 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 & 20  December, 11am - 3pm.  £1 each or three for £2

Add to your own festive family traditions by decorating a plaster motif – take home a little piece of Trerice to bring out every Christmas and hang on your tree.  

Willow making

21, 22, 28, 29 November, 5 & 6 December, 11am – 3pm,  from £2 - £3.50

Have fun learning the art of willow weaving to make your very own Christmas decoration.

Tudor Dancing

22 & 28 November, 12 - 1pm and 2 – 3pm

Have a go at learning a few Tudor dance move.  A great family fun activity to join in and see if you can learn the steps.

Storytelling

21, 22, 28, 29 November, 5 & 6 December

Listen to one of our stories in the run up to Christmas.

Suitable for children aged 5 plus.  All children to be accompanied by an adult. 

Christmas carols

Take in some Christmas festive cheer in the barn restaurant from 2 - 4pm.  Refreshments are available, including mulled wine and mince pies.

Christmas lunch

Tudor Father Christmas

12, 13, 19 & 20 December

Christmas at Trerice wouldn't be complete without a visit from our Tudor Father Christmas.  He'll be sharing tales and traditions of Christmas past at 11.30am, 12.15pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.15pm.  All children will go home with a present.  There will be several 30 minute performances each day.  Tickets available from reception.  Adults £2.50, children £3.50. (Normal admission charges apply).

Beeswax candle making

12 & 13 December, 11am - 3pm, £3 each

Make a beautiful natural beeswax candle for a Christmas present to give to a friend or your family.

Festive Christmas hats

19 & 20 December, 11am - 3pm, £2 each

Make either a star or Christmas pudding festive Christmas hat in time for Christmas day.
