Trerice is closed for the winter...

Trerice house and gardens are now closed for winter conservation work and will open again for the new season 25 February 2017.

During the winter the house is put to bed and all the necessary conservation work takes place and scaffolding is used to clean the places a little too out of reach.

The garden team are planting for spring and replacing the fence around the vegetable patch, making sure it’s secure from the pesky Cadbury’s chocolate bunnies that will be hopping around the garden over Easter.

Trerice will reopen on 25 February 2017 but if you’re interested in volunteering during the 2017 season please give us a call or drop in for the volunteer open day on 13 February.  You can tick off one of your #50things on 4 March with some Stargazing, visit with Mum for some Mother’s Day makes and bakes or explore the archaeological history of Trerice as a medieval manor farm on 24 March with volunteer Gary.
