Visiting Tyntesfield on 15 September 2017

Tyntesfield House Aglow

Due to essential maintenance, Tyntesfield's Home Farm visitor centre will be without electricity on Friday 15 September. Here's what that means for your visit...

Arriving and parking at Tyntesfield

On Friday 15 September 2017 there will be no parking charge, so you may park your vehicle in the main visitor car park for free.

As most of the Home Farm visitor centre will be affected, there will be signs on the day directing you around the outside of the building to the Ticket Office.

The Ticket Office

As usual, please begin your visit at the Ticket Office at the Home Farm visitor centre.

Because of the power outage, the Ticket Office will be cash only on Friday 15 September 2017.

National Trust members will be able to show their membership cards as usual.

We will be using temporary lighting in the Ticket Office on this day, so please take extra care.

You can still book your house tickets for the day (entry to the house is by timed ticket only) in advance of your visit on our website:

Toilets at Home Farm visitor centre

The Home Farm visitor centre toilets will be open as usual but please be aware that we will be using temporary lighting so they are likely to be dimmer than usual - please take extra care.

The toilets by the house and the Pavilion Cafe at the end of the estate will be unaffected - you can pick up a map of the estate at the Ticket Office.
