Join us as we celebrate Christmas on the Upton Front with a host of new events to get you in the 1940s Christmas spirit.

Tea or Brunch with Father Christmas
Weekends in December 10.30am  & 4.30pm

Join us for festive fun and wartime games, followed by light refreshments before each lucky child meets Father Christmas. Our canteen will also be open for those grown-ups with any spare ration tokens to spend! Brunch visits also include a house timed ticket to see the house decorated for a wartime Christmas.

Booking Essential: £10 per child. Normal admission charges apply.


Wartime Christmas Gift Fayre

5 & 6 December 11am-4pm
Join the wartime festivities! With local stalls offering food and drinks, handmade gifts and perfect presents. Normal admission prices apply.


AGA Christmas Cooking for Victory!

10 December, 10am
Join us for a private tour of the house and AGA cooking demonstration of modern meals inspired by wartime recipes. Includes the delicious treats you saw being made for lunch.

Christmas Black Out on the Upton Front
4, 11, & 18 December, 6pm & 6.45pm
As Upton battens down the hatches for wartime blackout, you are invited to enter into the spirit of a 1940s Christmas. Explore the World Class art collection by candlelight and discover the unique story of how the ordinary bank staff spent their leisure time and prepared for Christmas in this extraordinary place. The tour will be followed by crumpets and cocoa in our historic kitchen.
