Upton's Supper Clubs

Join us for a unique dining experience inspired by the homes the Bearsted's owned.

Lord & Lady Bearsted owned homes around the country.  They had a home in London for business, a home in the country at Upton for weekends.  As well as a house in Scotland and a place on the French Riviera to enjoy in the summer. They travelled regularly between their homes and would enjoy the tastes of the area and seasonal dishes, all crafted to a very high standard. At Upton and London their swish Chef would travel with them to host dinner parties for friends and family.

Enjoy the first of our supper club evening on 8 June, at 6.30pm.  The tasting menu will include produce from local companies chosen especially for this event by our highly skilled chef Sal.

The event takes place in the Pavilion Restaurant, where you will experience an explosion of tastes alongside a specially created gin cocktail courtesy of Cotswold Distillery and all whilst listening to some soulful Jazz.

Smoked Scottish Salmon & cream cheese on Tattie scones

Sundried tomato and polenta bites,

Elderflower & raspberry shots

Venison and baby beet brochettes

To Commence

Wild Mushroom Consommé

With Thyme and chicken dumplings

Intermediate

Poached Darne of Scottish salmon

With a sorrel cream sauce

Main course

Blade of venison

With Hot Pot potatoes, red cabbage, kale

Dressed with an indulgent sloe gin sauce

To Finish

Deconstructed Cranachan

Raspberry parfait, heather honey & walnut mousse, with a raspberry tuille

Served with a whisky liqueur

Coffee and petit fours
