The schedule for the day is as follows:
Morning Session 10:30am-12:30pm: House Number Plate/Plaque Workshop – A fun fused glass workshop for you to create a unique and beautiful House Number plate/plaque in a colour scheme of your choice! During the workshop you will learn about glass fusing techniques and be introduced to the materials and tools. Each participant will be able to choose from a selection of glass accessories to create a their plate on a pre-cut glass base. No wooden accessories are included.
Lunch (not provided) 12:30-1:30pm
Afternoon Session 1:30pm-3:30pm: Photograph Frame Workshop - Each participant will be designing and creating glass pieces which once fired will be attached to a photograph frame. During the workshop you will learn about glass cutting and fusing techniques and will be introduced to the materials and tools. You will be able to choose from a selection of glass accessories to create your design in colours of your choice.
All creations will be kiln fired by Suzie following the sessions and then collection from Wightwick Manor (or postage of the work can be organised) from 14days later.
Places are limited and expected to book up very quickly. Suitable for adults and for teens age 13 and over, under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult.

- Meeting point
Please park in the main car park and make your way up the path to the Manor. The course will take place in the Meeting Room which is located above the Old Manor shop (not wheelchair accessible).
- What to bring and wear
The Meeting Room is heated, but we would recommend you bring extra layers as it is located in an old building. Please no stiletto heels.
Note that as Wightwick Manor is a historical venue, some floors may be unlevel. The Meeting Room is located on the second floor of the old Manor building, up a short flight of stairs (no wheelchair access). Visitor toilets are in a separate building next to the tearoom.
Please note that access can be limited/difficult persons of disability due to the room’s location on the first floor. There is no lift and the room is not wheelchair accessible. Other venues where Suzie also holds workshops do have disabled access however, please contact Suzie for more information. All Materials, safety equipment and tools are provided. Please wear closed toe shoes. Contact Suzie with any specific requests, access or assistance needs or requirements. Tea and coffee are provided and you are welcome to bring drinks and small snacks into the workshop room.
This is a workshop aimed at adult beginners or first time felters with tutor Natalie Harris(Brooks). Natalie is a fine artist using needle felting and the creator of Roly Poly Ponies.
Throughout the day Wolverhampton glass artist Suzie from Suzie Lavender Contemporary Glass will be teaching two sessions of fused glass making techniques. These workshops are suitable for beginners or as a refresher course.
