An original and authentic recreation of the great author's dramatic performances, adapted from some of his shorter tales, including ghost classic "The Signal-man" and comic selections taken from "The Pickwick Papers". Dickens is for life, not just for Christmas!
Jonathan Goodwin plays Charles Dickens in a show scripted by himself.

Please note, stiletto heels or large bags are not permitted in the Manor. Please wear warm clothing as the Manor can get very chilly in the winter months. Bring a torch as the pathways between the car park and buildings are unlit.

Please make your way up from our car park to the Manor. Front door of the Manor, doors open at 7pm. Performance begins at 7:30pm.
- What to bring and wear
Please no stiletto heels or large bags. Please wear warm clothing as the Manor can get very chilly in the winter months. Bring a torch as the pathways between the car park and Manor are unlit.
- Accessibility
We have a golf buggy which can drive you to the Manor from the car park and ramp access to the Great Parlour where the event will be performed. Sorry, we cannot accommodate mobility scooters inside. Toilets are located in a separate building across from the Manor.
- Other
Please be aware that our accessible and visitor toilets are in a separate building away from the Manor. This performance will have a short interval, during this time refreshments can be purchased from the tea-room. Please note that refreshments cannot be taken back into the Manor. This event will take place inside in the Great Parlour of the Manor. Please meet at the front door of the Manor; the doors will open at 7pm for a start time of 7:30pm.
