Bioblitz with Mersey Rivers Trust

Join us for a free family drop-in activity exploring the wonderful wildlife of local ponds, rivers and other freshwater habitats.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Learn about the work the Mersey Rivers Trust and the National Trust are doing to improve freshwater habitats at Dunham Massey and across the River Bollin catchment.

There will be a variety of activity stations suitable for any audience. Try your hand at some species identification, play riverland bingo, create your own nature inspired craft to take home, chat to nature specialists about the importance of ponds and much more!

This event is part of the Riverlands: Bollin project. A 2-year, Defra funded, multi-catchment programme of work aiming to restore a functioning network of biodiverse and climate resilient freshwater habitats.
