In this enchanting session, you will create a Victorian Waldorf doll, inspired by the household and staff who once lived and worked at Tatton’s historic estate.

This unique workshop blends creativity with history, inviting you to learn the art of needle felting while exploring the fascinating stories of Victorian life at Tatton Park. Using high-quality materials and expert guidance, you will bring your doll to life in the traditional Waldorf style, known for its simplicity, charm, and timeless appeal.

Led by Vicky Pulman, founder of Needlessly Felted and a skilled artisan renowned for her engaging and accessible teaching style, this workshop is open to all skill levels. Whether you’re new to needle felting or have experience, Vicky’s step-by-step tuition will ensure you leave with a beautifully crafted piece to treasure.

What’s Included: All materials, including premium felting wool in rich tones for authentic Victorian costume details. Tools such as felting needles and mats, tailored for your project. Detailed guidance on needle felting techniques, from shaping to embellishing your doll’s features and attire. Victorian inspiration, with costume designs drawn from Tatton Park's own history. Entry to Tatton Park, allowing you to explore the grounds before or after the workshop.

The Barn Rooms are a short walk from the main car park. There is a drop off point near the Stableyard for blue badge holders. There are uneven surfaces and historic cobbles in the Stableyard.
