Christmas at Cotehele: Creating the Garland

Take a look behind the scenes as our team of gardeners create this year's garland

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Meet the gardeners between Monday 11 - Thursday 21 November at Cotehele as they start to insert over 30,000 dried flowers into the pittosporum to create this year's garland.

For everyone's safety, there might be times throughout the day when the Hall might be closed to visitors to allow scaffolding and other equipment to be moved.

On Monday 11 November, when the pittosporum base is made, work to create the garland takes place outside. On this date, the hall will be closed. Work to create the garland moves inside the hall from Tuesday 12 November.
