Christmas at Godolphin - Winter decorations workshop with Leach Pottery
Get into the festive spirit with a Leach Pottery ceramics workshop at Godolphin House. Feather, swirl, comb and paint with slips and oxides to make a collection of 8 ceramic winter decorations.

Take inspiration from the patterns and designs of Godolphin to create a collection of ceramic decorations.
In this 2 hour workshop, gather ideas from your surroundings, cut to shape the decorations and experiment with different slip decoration methods including feathering, combing and painting with slips and oxide.
You will make 8 pieces that will be glazed and then fired in the Leach Pottery electric kiln and will be ready for collection at Leach Pottery in St. Ives or *posting approximately 8 weeks post workshop.

The workshop price includes all materials, tea, coffee and mince pies and access to the rest of the site.

Please show printed or electronic confirmation of your tickets at the Welcome hut on arrival.
- What to bring and wear
Clay and a basic tool kit is provided. You are welcome to bring additional tools if you wish to use them, along with an apron and hand towel.
- Accessibility
The winter decorations workshop is accessible to wheelchair users. Limited access to the rest of the house but large print guide, BSL tours on tablet, photo album and easy read guide are available at the welcome hut.

Tea, coffee and mince pies are included in the ticket price.
