This BSL tour of Buckland Abbey will cover the Abbey and it's history. Led by one of our experienced tour guide volunteers and a BSL interpreter the tour will cover the Abbey's monastic life through to it's most famous resident, Sir Francis Drake.
If you would also like to visit the gardens, please feel free to arrive earlier than the time of your tour.
This event takes place over Heritage Open Days so there is no charge to enter the property and the tour is free. Pre-booking is essential.

Please wear sensible shoes as there is some uneven ground.

There are some stairs involved but most of the tour will take place on an accessible route, please contact us if you are concerned or would like to know more information. The BSL interpreter will be there to interpret the guide's tour and your questions.
