Big Butterfly Count

Take part in this year's Big Butterfly Count at Parke or at home and become a citizen scientist!

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

Between 12 July and 4 August, Butterfly Conservation are calling for people of all ages across the UK to get outside and count butterflies.

As well as being lots of fun, the information you provide helps experts understand how butterflies and day-flying moths are doing, and how we can help protect them for the future.

Pick up your Butterfly Conservation spotter sheet at the Parke Welcome van to take part, or visit the Butterfly Conservation website and download the free app.
