Discover the people and projects cutting emissions and leading the charge to net zero in Dorset. In 2019 the UK became the first major economy in the world to pass laws to end its contribution to global warming. An ambitious target of reaching ‘net zero’ by 2050 was set. Since then, Low Carbon Dorset, a support programme set up by Dorset Council, has been working behind the scenes to help the county’s businesses, communities, and public sector prepare. Through photography, this intimate exhibition tells the story of some of the organisations leading the charge in Dorset and the steps they’re taking to prepare the county for a greener future.
Included in the exhibition is Kingston Lacy’s ground source heat pump project.
The exhibition will be hosted within the Coach House area of the café and is free to view. To access the café you will need to pay for entry or scan your membership at Visitor Reception. If you are a National Trust member, please have your membership card ready to be scanned. If you are a non-member, please note you will need to pay £19 (or gift aid £21) for admission to the property.
