Volunteer with our rangers

Are you passionate about nature and wildlife? Would you like to join us as a volunteer, helping our rangers with outdoor tasks across Purbeck?
If you come along to one of our Sunday sessions, you'll be able to try your hand at a range of countryside management tasks from creating glades to cutting gorse, spreading seeds to maintaining footpaths and fences. Volunters old and new are welcome!
You could be working at any of the countryside sites we protect, including stunning coastal grassland, woodland and the important habitats of the Purbeck Heaths super National Nature Reserve.
No experience is necessary and all tools will be provided. Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. You'll need to make your own way to the meeting points which will be in various locations (10am start) and bring your own lunch.
Volunteer days:
- Sunday 10th December, 2023
- Sunday 14th January, 2024
