Be Aware invites you to explore the profound intricacies of human behaviours through seven masterful sculpted panels, representing the ‘deadly sins’, by internationally renowned artist Ana Maria Pacheco.
These seven carved relief pieces made from blocks of limewood, each meticulously carved and adorned with burnished paint and gold leaf, will be displayed in the Old Chapel, accompanied by the world premiere of a companion piece of music composed by John Woolrich.
Told through vibrant and provocative stories, Ana Maria Pacheco uses timeless, ancient themes from mythology and Catholic iconography demonstrating our shared humanity and conveying messages which are powerfully relevant.
