Explore the rich history of our 700-year-old moated manor house. With a roaring fire, traditional carols in our courtyard and crafting workshops, there’s plenty for the whole family to discover and enjoy.
Imaginations will run free as your little one's rummage through our dressing up box and transport themselves back to a time of Kings, Queens, Knights and Ladies. Whatever they decide to be it’ll be sure to be a great opportunity to capture that perfect Tudor Christmas snapshot.
Get well and truly into the festive spirit and join us in enjoying Christmas shopping opportunities in our fabulous new shop, and the beautiful voices of many talented local groups and choirs, who will be performing traditional carols and much-loved Christmas songs in our courtyard all throughout the festive season.

The garden is steep in places with steps and gravel, cobbles and grass pathways - please speak to staff on arrival for the best route for your needs. Disabled parking is available near visitor reception but there is some gravel in areas of the car park. Pushchairs are permitted in all areas of the garden, but please take care. Take care, there are many open water areas around the garden.
