Carols in the Courtyard: Musical Memories
Join the Musical Memories choir in the Courtyard
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Get well and truly in the festive spirit as you listen to the Musical Memories Choir sing carols in the beautiful Courtyard at Ightham Mote.
Musical Memories was formed by Tonbridge Lions in 2019, with support from the Tonbridge Dementia Friendly Community. The aim is to enable those with memory issues to come together socially, and to improve their wellbeing. Listening to, or taking part in singing and dancing has shown that it can be a powerful way to evoke memories and emotions, and to maintain relationships with others. The choir meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday in the month at Tonbridge Methodist Church.
Performances will take place from 11.00 - 11.30 and 12.00 - 12.30.
