Make an unforgettable gift for Mum this Mother's Day in one of our plant and craft drop-in sessions.

Join us in the Discovery Den in the garden for a fun, hands-on activity where children create a heartfelt and sustainable gift for Mother’s Day.
Guided by our volunteer team, children can plant sunflower seeds in eco-friendly newspaper pots using peat-free compost, then decorate a special gift bag to present their handmade surprise. A perfect way to celebrate Mum with a personal touch.
There is a charge of £2 per pot to cover the cost of materials. Please pay in visitor reception on arrival.

The sessions will take place in the Discovery Den in the garden. Please check-in at visitor reception and you'll be directed to the Discovery Den.
- What to bring and wear
The garden can be muddy, so please bring suitable clothes and footwear. Although the sessions will take place under cover it might be wet and cold, so please wrap up.
- Accessibility
The route to the Discovery Den is uneven and has slopes. Please ask at visitor reception for the best route for your needs.
- Other
The sessions are £2 per person to cover the cost of materials. Please pay at visitor reception on arrival. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
