Santa's Storytime
Tickets for this year's story time have flown faster than Santa's sleigh on Christmas Eve and are now completely sold out. Apologies if you've not been able to get a ticket this year.

There'll be sparkle and wonder guaranteed when Santa visits Scotney Castle this December.
Santa has set up Santa HQ in the old castle this year and, although he and the elves are really busy getting ready for Christmas, he'll be sharing one of his favourite stories in a few special bookable small group gatherings.
Snuggle down for a cosy Christmas story before chatting to the big man himself. Get an early Christmas present while accompanying adults can snap a photo by the decorated Christmas tree to celebrate the event. After meeting Santa, one of the elves will take you off to the tea-room for a delicious hot chocolate and gingerbread.
Please note we can only accommodate a maximum of two adults per family. Bulky items such as rucksacks or pushchairs must be left outside. This experience will last around 30 minutes from arrival at the old castle.

Please wait by the giant candy cane at the visitor entrance and one of Santa's helpers will meet you and take you down to the old castle.
- What to bring and wear
It can be chilly in the old castle so, although there will be snuggle blankets, please dress warmly.
- Accessibility
Steep hill with hard-surface path down to the old castle. Suitable for buggies, prams and mobility scooters. Accessible parking spaces and WCs/changing. Please note there are no WC/changing facilities in the garden or old castle. There is a step into the castle and then a flight of shallow uneven stairs up to Santa's workroom where the story time will take place.

Tickets for 'Santa's Storytime' include meet and greet and story with Santa, a small Christmas gift, hot chocolate and gingerbread. Tickets gives access to the old castle at the time of your session only. If you want to extend your visit to Scotney and enjoy the decorated house and gardens the normal admission applies (free for NT members). Parking is not included in tickets for 'Santa's Storytime'. Please book your parking in advance on the website. Please note Santa's office is up a short flight of stairs in the old castle. Only assistance dogs are permitted in the old castle.
