Easter Egg Hunt at Smallhythe Place

Join us for an Easter trail inspired by Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream!

Wander into the world of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Smallhythe has become the new home of the fairy court. Find the fairies' doors and complete their challenges. They might just reward you with a chocolate egg!

Make your way along the trail and find nature-inspired activities for the whole family.

The trail takes place between 24 March to 1 April, from 11am to 5pm, with last entry at 4:30pm, so come along and explore the beautiful grounds at Smallhythe Place.

Prices are £3 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg.

*Suitable for people with milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut allergies.

Please note we are closed Mondays & Tuesdays (except Monday 1 April).

The basics

Meeting point

Visitors can purchase trails at Visitor Reception.

What to bring and wear

The trail is outside so please dress for the weather.


The trail route is accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs. The pathway is level but can be muddy depending on weather.
