Lino print stamp workshop led by artist Angie Mitchell. Make a repeat design, inspired by the unique flora and fauna of Allan Bank.

To celebrate its 120th anniversary year and coinciding with its annual Summer Exhibition at Grasmere Village Hall, The Lake Artists Society is running this series of day long workshops at Allan Bank across July-August. Each session is run by a different Society member artist.

All workshops in the series:

Ben McLeod - 'Finding expression in painting the landscape' (Friday 19 July)

Ceri Allen - 'Without from Within', exploring the interior and exterior spaces, inspired by the modern masters; Bonnard and Vuillard, painting & drawing (Monday 29 July).

Angie Mitchell - make a lino print stamp to make a repeat design, inspired by the unique flora and fauna of Allan Bank (Monday 5 August).

Jamie Oldham – painting en plein air from the grounds at Allan Bank (Friday 9 August).

Annie Luke Turner - 'Capturing the spirit of the place by mark making', drawing (Friday 9 August)

Workshops 10am - 4pm. £70 per workshop Teas and coffee included.

Meeting point

House open from 9.30am. Materials can be dropped at house but please then park in one of the village carparks and walk up to Allan Bank. Blue badge parking is available on site.

What to bring and wear

Dress appropriately for working indoors and out. Bring a packed lunch. Teas and coffee available throughout the day.

Accessibility

Blue badge parking at rear of property. Level access into house. Accessible toilet on ground floor.
