Mrs Tiggy-winkle craft

Celebrate 120 years since The Tale of Mrs Tiggy-winkle was published with a hedgehog-themed craft.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Join our team in the orchard to create your own Mrs Tiggy-winkle in honour of the 120th anniversary of her publication.

Crafting dates: 5, 26 & 29 May.

Using pinecones and seed paper, create a hedgehog that you can take home and keep or plant in your garden to let a memory of Hill Top grow. This also ticks off the 'create some wild art' activity in your 50 Things to do before you're 11 & 3/4 sheet.

The craft will take approximately 10-15 minutes, so the last few people can start their craft at 16:15. Remember, it's always best to book your house visit in advance to avoid missing out, and check out our recommendations for alternatives to car travel.

This event is weather dependent and will be cancelled in bad weather. Please remember that seed paper is not always successful in creating growth.
