Be inspired: Art in the orchard
An opportunity to channel Beatrix Potter and try your hand at art in Hill Top's orchard and garden.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Join our team in the orchard and have a chance to try your hand at painting or sketching the beautiful scenery of Hill Top, which inspired illustrations in some of her little books, such as The Tale of Tom Kitten.
Celebrating pollinators, such as bees and butterflies, that contribute to the beautiful garden and orchard, we’ll point you towards some of the best inspiration for your artwork. Sketchbooks, easels, paints, and pencils will be supplied, giving you a chance to try some of the products available to purchase in our shop. If you’re planning to join us, make sure you’ve booked a visit to the house for your chosen arrival time to make things easier. Limited parking is available; we recommend checking the website to see different options for travel to Hill Top.
