Summer Solstice Wild Swim, Soundbath and Women's Circle Celebration

Celebrate the summer solstice with a wild swim, sound bath and women's circle at the Footprint with At Nature's Pace.

  • Booking essential

The summer solstice marks the first day of summer, when the sun reaches the highest point in the sky. The day is long, and the night is short. The sun is most potent on the summer solstice and is recognised as a time of powerful healing.

To welcome its arrival, a few days later we’ll gather to celebrate. We’ll begin with a delicious late-evening dip in the waters of Windermere. We’ll then head up to the magical woodland of the National Trust Footprint as we celebrate and honour this time of year by nourishing the body, mind and spirit through a beautiful sound bath with the wonderful Elaine Liddle of Earth Fire Soul Yoga & Wellbeing.

Using the vibrational sound healing of crystal singing bowls for deep relaxation, shamanic drums for grounding and gongs to help induce a meditative state, you’ll be taken on a sound healing journey of calm, stillness and rest preparing to ignite your inner fire ready for the summer months.

We’ll round off our summer solstice celebration as we come together for a beautiful, ritual women’s fire circle, rejuvenating your spirit amongst the trees and reconnecting with the healing therapy of the natural world around us where we’ll linger in the power of the lightest days of the year.

We’ll end the evening with homemade cake and fire-kettle brewed tea.

This event is organised by At Natures Pace.
