Join us for a special after-hours tour around the festive house as a fascinating Christmas treat. The Arthurian decorations, full of knights, wizards and dragons, are sure to be even more atmospheric in the evening.

Join us for a special after-hours tour around the festive house as a fascinating Christmas treat. The Arthurian decorations, full of knights, wizards and dragons, are sure to be even more atmospheric in the evening. Our experienced guide will show you around some of the main show rooms, tell you some fascinating facts, and we’ll finish with mulled cider or hot chocolate and a mince pie by the light of the Christmas Trees. (The candles will be artificial for the safety of our historic house.)
The shop will be open from 5pm until the start of the second tour at 7.30pm. Please arrive early if you want to do some Christmas shopping.
The house has plenty of steps and uneven floor surfaces This tour is not exhaustive of all the decorated areas: the rest of the decorated areas can be visited as part of a normal standard daytime visit.

Please dress for the weather - to walk from the car to the house will be chilly and uneven, and the house is cold at this time of year, and has steps and uneven surfaces.
- Accessibility
This will involve steps, stairs, and uneven surfaces - please contact us to discuss your access needs if you are concerned about this. A hearing loop is available on request. This will take place in dim lighting.
