Spend the afternoon taking in the wartime history of Sheringham Park with Assistant Ranger Rupert Eris, and a team of volunteers. Learn about the long history of threats of invasion on the North Norfolk coast and how the pillboxes fit into the wider wartime defence landscape. The tour on Sunday 15th September will be accompanied by a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter. This tour will take approx. 3 hours. Please bring water and wear sturdy walking boots and as this tour will take you over rough and hilly ground. There are no facilities on the route, but there is a café and toilet facilities near the visitor centre.
