Guided walk: Hawthorn Dene snowdrops
A ramble around one of the North East's best spots for snowdrops.

Join walk leaders Janet and Steven to explore Hawthorn Dene, enjoy carpets of snowdrops and learn about the history, heritage and nature of the area. The walk is approximately 3 miles/4.8km and will be completed at a pace to suit the group.

- What to bring and wear
Sturdy walking shoes/boots, waterproofs and warm layers to suit changeable weather advised. Please bring a drink, plus a snack if needed.

The route features some slopes. Some paths may be muddy due to wet weather.
