Plant a snowdrop with Gibside

Drop in to help the gardening team plant snowdrops this February half term.

This February the gardeners are hard at work planting out snowdrops to turn Gibside into winter wonderland. Drop in to have a go at planting your very own snowdrop and learn a bit more about the work we do.

The basics

Meeting point

The gardening team will be based near the Chapel. Ask at Visitor Reception and follow signs to find out where they are planting on the day.

What to bring and wear

Please be aware that this event takes place outside. We recommend weather appropriate clothing and shoes.

Accessibility

The path up to Market Place has a steep gradient. The Gibside shuttle bus may be available on the day, please ask at Visitor Reception.
