Applications are now open for a new tenancy for Gallows Hill Farm on the Wallington Estate, with the process of finding the new tenant being filmed for a new television series presented by Matt Baker and airing on More4 in 2023. Could you be the next tenant of this farm?
The special selection process of finding the new tenant for Gallows Hill Farm will be filmed for Matt Baker's Farm of a Lifetime (working title), an eight-part television series, which will take place over three weeks in Northumberland and produced by Big Circus Media. Seven applicants (individuals or couples/partnerships) will be brought together for the final stage of selecting a new tenant for the vacant farm on the Wallington Estate.
The applicants will be assessed on their business plans and their abilities and approaches to completing a series of real-world agricultural, environmental and renovation tasks/experiences, with the successful applicant being invited to take on a 10-year tenancy of the farm.
