Join us on Gibbs Island near Killyleagh for this practical workshop about hedgerow restoration. Under the supervision of one of our rangers you will be learning one of the heritage countryside skills.

The workshop is free of charge but donations are more than welcome. This workshop will take place on a site that is open to the public with limited access to toilet facilities and no shelter. This workshop is not suitable for dogs.
This workshop is outdoors with no access to shelter. Please meet our NT ranger, Will, at the car park at the end of Island Road, beside Delamont Country Park.
There is limited access to toilet facilities.
This workshop may be unsuitable for those unable to undertake manual work and those using walking aids.
From Newtownards, follow the road signage to Comber and then to Killyleagh. Delamont Country Park is on the left as you leave Killyleagh. Island Road is beside the Country Park.
There will be no seating available. Please feel free to bring foldable seats or picnic blankets for lunchtime.
There are no refreshments available but please feel free to bring your own picnic lunch and warm drinks.
