A special longer walk to explore the surrounding area of Belton Estate, witness the views of Belton from Rose Cottage across to Londonthorpe Woods and eventually venture up to Peascliffe Tunnel via Barkston. This guided walk will include local history insights and explore the composition of the woodland. Length: Circa 16K
This is one of our longer walks so please make sure to bring your own drinks and food to keep up your energy levels throughout!
No dogs on this walk. The route includes entering farmland, where the priority remains keeping the environment solely for the purpose of the deer and grazing cattle. This guided hike will start from Belton Information Hub.
For those who have booked onto the Walk, free access to Belton Estate Car Park is permitted, you do not have to be a member of the National Trust.
