What to expect

Look forward to some time together with loved ones, as you explore a magical trail with new lights for 2023. Discover larger-than-life flowers, a jolly flock of glittering robins, and wander through rainbow coloured trees - all new this year.

Grab a seasonal snack from one of the hand-picked street food vendors who bring an indulgent twist to tempting treats on offer. Complete your walk under the stars with a perfectly festive *spiced winter warmer, *hot chocolate or *toasted marshmallow and share it with someone special.

*separate charges apply. Christmas at Belton vendors will be accepting card only.

Essential information

  • Christmas at Belton will run from 24 November to 31 December, with a number of trail times available. The event takes place outdoors so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
  • The trail will take around 90 minutes to explore, and only guide dogs and assistance dogs are permitted.
  • The Christmas at Belton vendors and rides will be accepting card only. You can pay with cash or card within the Stables Cafe and Belton Gift Shop.

  • Discover Belton's daytime offer from 25 November to 7 January 2024. This is separate from the Christmas at Belton lights event. Christmas at Belton tickets do not include entry into the mansion.

Car parking

National Trust members recieve free car parking when booked in advance. Select parking when you buy your tickets and your membership parking will be validated on the evening of your visit. National Trust members will be charged for parking when purchasing on the day.

Non-National Trust members are advised to book parking when buying tickets, unless planning to travel by public transport.

Please be mindful that Belton village is not part of the National Trust Belton Estate. We politely ask that visitors don't park in the village, as this is a busy main road and the entrance to Christmas at Belton, and ask that drivers are respectful to the village residents.
