Hapa-zome and paper-making workshop

Join us for a messy and fun activity creating the perfect gift for Father's Day. Get creative with nature and try out the Japanese art of hapa-zome.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

Join us to have a go at papermaking and create some artwork using natural materials. Hapa-zome means 'leaf-dye'. This natural dyeing technique harnesses the power of plants to create vibrant and unique patterns using a hammer.

This is a great activity for anyone who loves to get their hands dirty, and no prior experience is necessary. We'll provide everything you need to make and take your artwork home.

This experience can be enjoyed by all ages, supported by National Trust volunteers.

Free event. Donations are very welcome to help cover the costs of materials.
