Winter signs of life trail at Calke Abbey

Looking for half term activities for the kids? Go on a nature adventure at Calke Abbey.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

You may think there’s not a lot to see over winter but if you look close enough, you’ll discover signs of life everywhere.

This half term we’re challenging you to use all your senses and see what’s stirring around you. Is it the sound of trees swaying in the breeze or buds bursting through the ground?

As you explore, please be mindful of where your tread, as you may be stepping on someone’s home.

Download your trail sheet from the family-friendly things to see and do article on our website.
