Join us this half term for a buzzing family adventure at Calke Abbey, as we celebrate nature's little heroes.

Can you bee-lieve that there are over twenty five thousand different bee species around the world?
Follow a hive of activity around the Stableyards and Pleasure Grounds and meet 10 different bees that live in the UK.
Discover the vital role these amazing pollinators play in our ecosystem and complete bee-themed challenges along the way, from waggle dancing with the honeybee to testing your speed with the hairy-footed flower bee.
Don't forget to visit the beehives at the bottom of the orchard to see real bees in action.

- Meeting point
The trail starts outside the back of the Ticket Office.
- Accessibility
The route is along a gravel surfaced path, with a steep slope down to the house and a small slope up to the Pleasure Grounds. Watch out for areas of uneven terrain around the Stableyards. Sensory bags are available to borrow from the Ticket Office.

Dogs are welcome on short leads around the trail.
