Escape into autumn this October at The Children's Country House at Sudbury with lots to see and do for the whole family. Take part in games such as pumpkin bean bag toss and tic tac toe, help rake leaves to make compost, create leaf bunting and have a go at garden and hall trails. The museum, Hall, and gardens are all open during this time, and as the air becomes more crisp, it's the perfect time to escape into nature and treat yourself to a hot chocolate in the cafe.

Autumn activities will be taking place across the Hall, Stableyard, and, Sunken Lawn.
- What to bring and wear
Some activities take place in the garden, so we recommend wearing weather-appropriate clothing.
- Accessibility
Activities take place across the gardens and the whole property with some uneven terrain and steps along the route. There is lift access in the Museum and Cafe and the Stableyard is accessible with wheelchairs, walking aids and mobility scooters. We provide an electric vehicle transfer available to transport visitors from the car park to the property.
