The Lord of Misrule trail
We are planning a traditional, 17th century Christmas party but the mischievous Lord of Misrule has torn the invitation up! Can you locate the missing invitation pieces to make it to the party on time?
- Booking not needed
- Admission applies
Come along with your family between Saturday 16th December and Sunday 31st January and search for the 6 missing pieces.
The trail will cost £2 per trail. No booking required, normal admission applies. We will be open from 10-4, but recommend you arrive no later than 3pm for the trail to allow you to explore it all at your own pace.
Times
The basics
- Suitability
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Meeting point
The trail will be sold at Visitor Reception
- What to bring and wear
Warm layers and weather/outdoor appropriate footwear is highly recommended as our grounds are very muddy at this time of year.
- Accessibility
The trail will be placed around level, largely even ground, although areas of the woodland can be uneven in places due to tree roots. Please get in touch with any specific access requirements and we will do our best to accommodate these.
