Cyanotype printing is an early photographic process (John Herschel 1842) producing white imagery on a deep Prussian blue background, magically developed before your eyes in daylight. Local artist Lisa Pettibone will guide you through the process to create a series of beautiful blue photo prints to frame, make into cards or bookmarks. No previous experience required. All equipment will be provided as will tea & biscuits.

Based in Surrey, Lisa Pettibone is a visual artist working in sculpture (glass and mixed media), installation and print. Expressing concepts related to natural forces and the evolution of form, her practice investigates the nature of human perception through the lens of science. She is a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors and her work will be exhibited at Shaping Glass/Shaping Futures, James Hockey Gallery, UCA Farnham from 1-31 October 2024.
