Gardener Walks & Talks: Pests, Diseases and Climate Change with Gardener Nick

Join Gardener Nick for a Special Tour on Climate Change and the impact it has on Plant Health with specific reference to the rise of pests and diseases.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Join us for an insightful walk around Sheffield Park and Garden with our gardener, Nick, as we explore the challenges climate change presents to our plant collection. This tour will focus on how shifting weather patterns are impacting pests and diseases, threatening the health of our trees and plants at Sheffield Park and Garden.

Nick will share firsthand experiences of how the gardening team manage these issues at Sheffield Park with specific reference to a recent outbreak that happened in the beginning of 2025.

Whether you’re a keen gardener or simply curious about the changing natural world, this is a great opportunity to learn more about protecting plants for the future.
