Seven Sister's Astronomical Society are joining us for a day to carry out a solar viewing in the garden and view the partial solar eclipse.
Visitors will get the chance to look through specially designed solar telescopes to see the Sun in a different light. A rare opportunity to see sun spots and flares safely, as well as viewing a partial Solar eclipse. Learn more about our home star, and the science behind how a solar eclipse happens.
For those coming to see the partial solar eclipse, please be aware that the partial eclipse is only happening between 10:07am and 12:00pm.
Suitable for all ages. This event is free with entry and will take place on the manor lawn. Please be aware that this event is weather dependant, and if there is thick cloud cover or rain then this event won’t go ahead.
