This Christmas Erddig is celebrating 'The Gift of Giving' and 50 years since National Trust Cymru began caring for this special place. Wander through the house, lavishly decorated throughout and marvel at the saloon dressed elegantly for a traditional Christmas evening. As you follow the Christmas trail keep a look out for the gold objects we've added to our display. See how many you can find and receive a reward sticker for your effort. Make sure you don't miss the display of over 2,200 wrapped presents as you explore the house, each representing 10 items in Erddig’s vast collection - one of the largest in the National Trust. The lower ground floor and some family rooms will be open for this event from 11.30am-2.30pm from December 2 and from 11.30am-3pm in January. On 18,19, 20 and 21 December only we will be reopening the house for the evening at 3.30pm to allow more visitors to experience Christmas at Erddig. Last entry to the house on these four dates will be 6.30pm. We are closed on December 24 and 25.
