A lovely workshop to make a gift for our feathered friends, using different weaving techniques you will make a house to help them through the seasons.
This particular birdhouse has a wooden base and uses traditional basket weaving techniques to create a cosy house complete with its own perch and carry handle. Suitable for adult beginners. All materials and refreshments are provided.

Head to the Wood Yard Cafe where the workshop will take place.
- What to bring and wear
Dress in layers - the weather maybe cold and wet in January but you'll soon warm up in the Wood Yard cafe as you keep busy.
- Accessibility
Accessible parking spaces are available. There are uneven and grassy paths, historic cobbled floors and gravel paths to navigate which some pushchairs may find tough going in places. Please see the website about hiring the all-terrain mobility vehicle.
