Craft a willow swallow

A lovely workshop to celebrate the bird life at Charlecote.

As the swallows have flown away for winter join willow artist Rachel Harwood to make some willow swallows to keep and display on a wall inside or outside.

You will be able to make different sizes and styles using beautiful willow from Somerset. This is a lovely workshop for any ability and we aim to make at least 2 swallows. Adult workshop only.

This workshop is suitable for adults.

Meeting point

Head to the Wood Yard Cafe where the workshop will take place.

What to bring and wear

Dress in layers - the weather maybe cold and wet in January but you'll soon warm up in the Wood Yard cafe as you keep busy.

Accessibility

Accessible parking spaces are available. There are uneven and grassy paths, historic cobbled floors and gravel paths to navigate which some pushchairs may find tough going in places. Please see the website about hiring the all-terrain mobility vehicle.
