Meet the Ranger: Butterflies and Plants

Discover the butterflies and plants of Lacock's parkland.

As part of the Summer of Play in the parkland, meet Lacock's ranger and learn more about the plants and butterflies that live and grow here. Using sweeper nets, we'll take a closer look at the creatures that live in the long grasses, then use some of the parkland hay to make a corn dolly to take home with you.

This activity is included in the cost of admission, accompanying adults don't need to book unless making a craft.

This activity takes place in the parkland. Meet at visitor reception for directions to the parkland play hub.

Dress according to the weather and wear appropriate footwear, as this event takes place outside.

Some gradients in the parkland, with wide mown paths. There will be some low seating available.
