Botanical Illustration workshop
One day Botanical illustration workshop held at Croome.
- Booking essential
This one-day course is a chance to try your hand at the art of botanical illustration.
Working under the guidance of artist Debbie Devauden, you’ll learn the techniques required to create your own watercolour picture. Debbie is Chair of the Gloucestershire Society for Botanical Illustration and has been painting flowers from the age of 6. She has a diploma in botanical illustration from the English Gardening school at the Chelsea Physic Garden and teaches regular classes and workshops across the country.
During this one day workshop, Debbie will give demonstrations and then take time to advise each student individually, working with them to develop their techniques. The classes are always friendly and laid back. Even if you have never drawn or painted before you will be surprised at what you can achieve in one day and will take home at least one finished piece of work.
The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience - the price includes all materials and equipment required for the day.
