World Book Day

Join local author Ruth Goddard in the second-hand bookshop at Hanbury Hall for a series of storytelling sessions to celebrate World Book Day.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Hear Ruth read her book ‘Blossom and the Bees’ and other children’s stories as you settle down in the cosy second-hand bookshop, located in the courtyard behind the Hall.

Blossom is a little girl whose best friend is a bee. Find out all about her adventures in her garden, whilst you learn all about the exciting things she sees with Mr Bee.

Ruth’s books will also be available to purchase, along with a whole range of pre-loved books on sale in the bookshop. All of your donations go towards looking after Hanbury Hall for future generations.
