Ancient Underlands : Calderdale's Grassland Fungi

Free art exhibition by Turquoise Arts

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

This exhibition is inspired by the amazing colours, weird shapes, textures, smells and fantastic names of the grassland fungi in the Calder Valley. Many are rare and endangered, and they inhabit ancient, irreplaceable habitats that need to be protected.

As a community, we need to know about them in order to protect this incredible, but little-known heritage that we have.

This exhibition will be moving to Luddendenfoot Community Centre (23 Nov-1 Dec)
